At least one person was killed and two others injured in an explosion in Syria’s central city of Palmyra on Monday, according to state media.
The Syrian Arab News Agency reported that the unidentified explosion occurred inside a vehicle used for collecting scrap in Palmyra, located in the eastern countryside of Homs province.
Authorities have not yet provided details about the cause of the blast or the identities of those affected.
