A local court in Taxila has approved the physical and judicial remand of suspects arrested in connection with the murder of TikToker Shamso Ayesha Gilamna, who was allegedly killed in a planned attack on August 14.
Area Magistrate Muhammad Asif Iqbal granted police a four-day physical remand of Yaseen and Ahsan Ullah, the two men accused of carrying out the shooting.
The court also sent the victim’s father Fazal, brother Bashir and uncle Rozi Khan on 14-day judicial remand.
All five suspects were subsequently sent to Adiala Jail in accordance with the court’s orders.
Police said the TikToker was allegedly murdered following careful planning, with investigators later arresting members of her family as well as the two suspected shooters.
Further investigation into the circumstances and motive behind the killing is continuing.
