A woman was killed and 12 others, including five women and two children, were injured in a traffic accident on the newly constructed Shahrah-e-Bhutto bridge, which connects Korangi with Jinnah International Airport, ARY News reported.
According to rescue officials, the collision occurred when a speeding car crashed into the rear of a Suzuki pickup, leaving multiple passengers injured.
All those hurt were shifted to a nearby hospital, where three victims were reported to be in critical condition.
The driver of the car allegedly fled the scene immediately after the accident.
Police have launched an investigation and efforts are underway to trace the fleeing driver.
