Türkiye have been eliminated from the 2026 FIFA World Cup after suffering a second consecutive defeat, leaving them bottom of their group without a point.
With losses to Australia and Paraguay, Turkey can no longer qualify for the knockout stage. Even if they defeat the United States men’s national soccer team in their final group match, they cannot finish higher than fourth place.
Under the tournament’s head-to-head tiebreaker rules, Turkey cannot overtake Australia or Paraguay, both of whom already have three points after defeating the Turkish side. As a result, Turkey’s World Cup campaign will end after their final group-stage fixture.
