Six Killed, Several Injured in Series of Attacks Across Balochistan

On May 9, 2025, a series of violent incidents across Balochistan resulted in six deaths and multiple injuries. In Uthal, armed assailants targeted a hair salon, killing three individuals, including two barbers from Bahawalpur and a customer from Quetta. Police have labeled it a targeted killing. In Quetta, a motorcycle altercation escalated, leaving two men dead. Additional attacks in Kharan and Surab led to one fatality and five injuries, including tribal elder Naib Raheem Bakhsh.
