Police have intensified their investigation into the alleged rape and murder of a three-year-old girl in Karachi’s Quaidabad area, treating the case as a high-priority investigation while fast-tracking forensic analysis.
Officials said DNA testing is being conducted on a priority basis, with investigators expecting a breakthrough once the final forensic report is received.
According to police sources, DNA samples from four additional suspects have been sent for laboratory analysis, while investigators have reached Karachi University to obtain a key DNA report linked to the case.
Authorities said the forensic examination has been expedited due to the sensitive nature of the investigation. Police added that an arrest is expected after the DNA findings are received and analysed.
