The Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) on Wednesday located the wreckage of the missing K2 Airways Boeing 737 cargo aircraft in the Arabian Sea following a 12-hour search-and-rescue operation.
The wreckage was found approximately 53 nautical miles south of Ormara after an extensive search involving naval ships, aircraft and other maritime assets.
The aircraft disappeared from radar on Tuesday while returning to Karachi from Sharjah with five crew members on board after undergoing repairs.
The Pakistan Navy said search-and-rescue efforts are continuing to recover further evidence and locate the missing crew members.
