Gold and silver prices declined in Pakistan on Thursday following a drop in international bullion markets.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs2,300 per tola to Rs452,936, while the price of 10 grams dropped by Rs2,070 to Rs387,615.
The decline followed a $23 per ounce decrease in the international gold price, which fell to $4,305 per ounce.
Silver prices also moved lower. International silver fell by $1.44 per ounce to $68.80, while in Pakistan, the price of silver declined by Rs144 per tola to Rs7,359. The price of 10 grams of silver also dropped by Rs123 to Rs6,268.
