RAWALPINDI: The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Rawalpindi has launched a crackdown on commercial and domestic consumers with long-standing unpaid water bills.
During an operation in E-Block, Satellite Town, officials issued defaulters a final deadline to clear their outstanding dues.
Senior Special Magistrate WASA Amir Ashfaq Qureshi warned that those who fail to pay within the stipulated period could face disconnection of their water supply and further legal action.
WASA said its revenue recovery campaign will continue across Rawalpindi without discrimination and urged consumers to clear their dues to avoid penalties.
