A video circulating on social media has sparked concern after it appeared to show a foreign woman alleging she was assaulted by policewomen at Islamabad’s Kohsar Police Station.
The footage shows the woman crying for help while several female police officers can be seen surrounding her and shouting. The woman claims she was assaulted after seeking police assistance.
According to sources, she had initially called police to Sector F-6 over a financial dispute. However, she later alleged that instead of receiving help, she was physically assaulted by officers at the police station.
The video has drawn widespread attention online, with calls for an investigation into the incident. Islamabad Police have not yet issued an official statement responding to the allegations.
