Employees at Meta’s office in Bangkok were left surprised after a squirrel emerged from a parcel and briefly roamed through the workplace, creating an unusual interruption to the working day.
According to international media reports, the animal darted through different parts of the office before being safely captured by staff.
During the incident, a member of the cleaning team sustained a minor scratch to a finger while the squirrel jumped around the office. No other injuries were reported.
The unexpected visitor was eventually removed without harm, allowing normal operations to resume.
Adding a light-hearted twist to the incident, employee Mike Isaac said a colleague later used artificial intelligence to create a humorous video highlighting squirrel-related safety precautions following the brief office adventure.
