When the FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off in Mexico, the United States and Canada, Pakistan will once again have a presence at football’s biggest event.
The tournament’s official match ball, the Adidas Trionda, is being manufactured in Sialkot.
Known as a global hub for football production, Sialkot manufactures more than two-thirds of the world’s footballs, with skilled workers producing balls for leading international brands and major tournaments.
Although Pakistan has never qualified for a FIFA World Cup, the country has maintained a longstanding connection to the tournament through Sialkot’s football industry, which has supplied official match balls for several editions of football’s premier event.
