Pakistani technology entrepreneur and cryptocurrency analyst Waqar Zaka has won the WEEX TradFi Masters global solo trading competition, outperforming more than 3,000 participants in a multi-asset trading contest.
The competition required participants to trade independently using their own capital, without teams or referral incentives, across a range of asset classes including stocks, gold, silver, commodities and cryptocurrencies on a single platform.
According to the organisers, Zaka secured first place and was awarded a 2026 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon at a ceremony in Dubai.
Competition data showed that leading participants began with an initial trading capital of $100,000. Zaka recorded a 74% return over 20 days, generating $74,000 in profit and increasing his account value to $174,000.
A trader from South Korea finished second with a 57% return, while a participant from China placed third after recording a 35% return.
WEEX congratulated Zaka on its official account on X, formerly known as Twitter.
