Australian police have called off the search for four-year-old Gus Lamont who went missing in the outback for almost three weeks. He was last seen playing on a remote sheep station outside his home near Yunta on 27 September He was left alone for thirty minutes by his grandmother before coming back to check on him, only to find him not there, leading to one of the biggest land and air searches in South Australian history.
Police do not suspect foul play and they will continue investigating but that this case has now become a “recovery operation”
