A school’s boundary wall collapsed during the landing of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s helicopter in Arifwala, ARY News reported.
Video footage showed the helicopter descending onto a temporary helipad in a housing colony as the outer wall of a nearby school gave way during the landing.
Maryam Nawaz had travelled to Arifwala to inaugurate the Eminence School.
According to initial reports, the wall collapsed due to the strong air pressure generated by the helicopter’s rotor blades during landing.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Authorities have not yet issued any further statement regarding the collapse.
