Actor and model Huma Saleem has accused a Pakistani cricketer of harassment, intimidation, emotional abuse and character assassination in a Instagram story, although she did not identify the individual by name.
Describing the situation as “a very unsettling time,” Saleem alleged that the cricketer had repeatedly disturbed her despite there being no contact between them for the past two months.
“Today they crossed the limit by threatening & harassing me while I have been in no contact with him since 2 months & whenever I try to move on he always come back & disturbs me mentally,” she wrote.
Saleem said she had decided to speak publicly because she believed the situation had become unbearable.
“No woman can intentionally socially defame herself until the threshold exceeds,” she added.
The actor further alleged that the cricketer had misused Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) funds and claimed she intended to make additional disclosures with the assistance of her legal team.
She also accused him of contacting her family members and professional associates in an attempt to damage her reputation.
“They are trying to defame me professionally by messaging my work-related colleagues,” she wrote.
Saleem claimed the alleged harassment had continued throughout their relationship and described it as emotionally abusive.
The cricketer referred to in the allegations has not been named, and the claims have not been independently verified. No public response from the individual or the Pakistan Cricket Board had been issued at the time of publication.
