Russia and Ukraine reported a series of overnight drone and missile attacks on Saturday, with three people killed and 10 others injured across both countries as the conflict continued.
In the Kyiv region, Ukrainian authorities said Russian strikes hit three locations in the Brovary district, killing three people and injuring three others. Falling debris damaged a residential building, several outbuildings and vehicles, while a fire broke out at a non-residential property.
Emergency crews were deployed to the affected areas, with authorities saying efforts to deal with the aftermath were continuing.
Russia’s Defence Ministry confirmed carrying out strikes in the Kyiv area, saying its forces targeted a military-industrial facility and a fuel depot. Moscow also claimed that attack drones struck two cargo vessels allegedly transporting weapons and military equipment to Ukrainian ports near Odesa.
Meanwhile, Russian authorities reported several Ukrainian drone attacks on their territory.
In the Krasnodar region, five people were injured after falling drone debris sparked a fire at the Ilsky Oil Refinery, according to local officials.
Two more people were injured in Zadonsk, in Russia’s Lipetsk region, where a drone crash damaged four homes, a vehicle and a power line.
Authorities in the Samara region also reported a drone attack on an industrial facility, saying emergency teams were responding to the incident.
Russia’s Defence Ministry claimed its air defences intercepted or destroyed 397 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory, annexed Crimea and the Sea of Azov.
The claims made by both sides could not be independently verified amid the ongoing war.
