Punjab Govt’s Claims of campus in Lahore rejected by Imperial College London, No Plans to Do So

The PML-N account on X posted on October 18 about Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz chairing a meeting. The post said that an Imperial college London campus would open at the Nawaz Sharif IT City. In a separate post on X, Marriyum Aurangzeb had also made a similar statement about the meeting chaired by CM. The official account for the Punjab Govt said the same. The Institute however, rejected these claims. “Reports that Imperial College London plans to open a campus overseas are incorrect,” the college said in a post on its website.
