Pakistan Urges Ceasefire Compliance in Call Between Dar, EU’s Kallas

Pakistan has called on all parties to uphold the ceasefire agreement and keep communication channels open, as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas.

According to a statement, the two leaders reviewed the rapidly evolving regional situation and discussed developments related to the Middle East peace and stability framework.

Kallas commended Pakistan’s efforts in advancing the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, while also expressing concern over recent ceasefire violations.

During the conversation, Pakistan reiterated the importance of full adherence to the ceasefire agreement and stressed the need for continued dialogue to help preserve regional peace and stability.
