Iran’s military said on Friday that it had launched a drone attack targeting what it described as strategic US facilities at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait.
In a statement, the Iranian army said explosive drones struck aircraft hangars, satellite communication systems and equipment warehouses at the base.
It described Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base as a key centre for US air operations, surveillance missions and logistical support in the region.
There was no immediate response from either Kuwaiti authorities or the United States regarding the Iranian claim.
