The special central court on Tuesday granted interim bail to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s daughter, Rabia Imran and son-in-law Imran Yousaf in a reference related to alleged corruption in the Punjab Power Development Company (PPDC).
Judge Ashfaq Ahmed heard the interim bail applications and restrained the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from arresting them till May 7. Rabia Imran and Imran Yousaf appeared before the court and marked their attendance. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had filed a reference against the accused over alleged corruption in the Punjab Power Development Company. The prime minister’s son-in-law and daughter were declared proclaimed offenders in the reference.
