Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir arrived in Türkiye on Monday for a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening the longstanding strategic and defence partnership between the two countries.
According to security sources, the army chief received a warm welcome upon his arrival and is scheduled to hold a series of high-level meetings with Türkiye’s political and military leadership.
The talks are expected to cover a range of issues of mutual interest, including defence cooperation, regional security and broader bilateral relations, although officials have not released a detailed agenda for the visit.
The trip comes as Pakistan and Türkiye continue to deepen their close diplomatic, military and strategic engagement through regular high-level exchanges.
