A magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck Indonesia’s Flores region on Thursday, according to the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ).
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres (6.21 miles).
There were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage following the quake.
