Apple Music Set to Officially Launch in Pakistan With Local Subscription Plans

Jarida Report

Apple Music is set to officially launch in Pakistan, with the streaming service beginning to display Pakistan-specific subscription plans and support for local payments.

The development is expected to bring full Apple Music subscription access to iOS users in Pakistan, following the service’s earlier availability on Android devices in the country.

According to ProPakistani, Apple Music is currently showing two monthly subscription options for Pakistani users. The Individual plan is priced at Rs379 per month, while the Family plan costs Rs649 per month.

Both packages include a one-month free trial, after which subscriptions will automatically renew each month unless cancelled.

Successful payments have reportedly been confirmed using PayPak cards, while support for additional payment cards is expected to follow.

Separately, sources cited by ProPakistani have claimed that Apple Pay could also be introduced in Pakistan, although Apple has yet to officially confirm its launch.

The introduction of local pricing and payment support would remove one of the main barriers faced by Pakistani users seeking to subscribe to Apple’s music streaming service through their iOS devices.
