Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to depart for Saudi Arabia today on an official visit aimed at further strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
During the visit, the prime minister is expected to hold talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, with discussions focusing on bilateral cooperation, regional developments and other issues of mutual interest.
Ahead of the visit, a high-level meeting was held in Islamabad to review preparations and finalise the agenda. Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs briefed participants on the diplomatic engagements planned during the trip, while members of the prime minister’s delegation also attended the meeting.
According to sources, the meeting also reviewed progress on the implementation of agreements signed during previous Pakistan-Saudi engagements, with particular emphasis on strengthening economic cooperation and ensuring timely follow-up on bilateral commitments.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be accompanied by a high-level delegation during the visit.
