Iran Accuses Israel of Repeated Lebanon Truce Violations, Warns of ‘Harsh Response’

Jarida Report

Iran has accused Israel of violating the Lebanon ceasefire 84 times since the memorandum of understanding between Tehran and the United States was agreed, warning that continued attacks could provoke a “harsh response”.

The warning came after Israeli strikes reportedly killed four people in southern Lebanon and amid growing criticism of Israel’s actions from US President Donald Trump, who said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu needed to be “more responsible” in Lebanon.

According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, multiple Israeli strikes targeted locations in the Nabatieh Governorate on Tuesday despite the ceasefire and recent US-Iran understanding aimed at ending hostilities across the region.

The agency reported that separate drone strikes hit two vehicles in Mayfadoun, while a third vehicle was targeted in the village of Shoukin.

Iran said the continued attacks risk undermining efforts to preserve regional stability following the recent diplomatic breakthrough.
