Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met with UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Hamish Falconer, on Tuesday to discuss Pakistan’s economic outlook, reform agenda and opportunities for deeper bilateral cooperation.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the meeting was also attended by Jane Marriott and senior officials from both countries.
The two sides held detailed discussions on Pakistan’s macroeconomic outlook, fiscal and structural reforms, priorities outlined in the 2026-27 budget, and ways to further strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
