Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said early Monday that the United States and Iran have reached a peace agreement aimed at ending months of regional conflict.
In a post on X, Sharif said both sides had agreed to the immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.
According to the prime minister, the official signing ceremony for the agreement will take place on June 19 in Switzerland.
The announcement marks a significant diplomatic development amid ongoing efforts to reduce tensions and restore stability across the region.
