Dar Discusses Regional Situation with Turkish, Egyptian Counterparts

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held separate telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of Turkiye and Egypt on Saturday night to discuss regional developments and recent diplomatic progress involving the United States and Iran, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In a post on X, the ministry said Dar and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan exchanged views on the evolving situation in the region and welcomed what they described as encouraging progress towards an understanding between Washington and Tehran.

The two leaders expressed hope that the positive momentum would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region and agreed to remain in close contact regarding future developments, the ministry added.
