Rana Sanaullah Alleges Banned JAAC Receiving Foreign Funding

Jarida Report

Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has claimed that the banned Joint Awami Action Committee is receiving funding from external sources and has rejected multiple efforts to resolve disputes through dialogue.

Speaking on a television programme, Sanaullah said the organisation had declined several proposals aimed at settling issues through peaceful negotiations.

He also said the group had not previously demanded the abolition of the 12 refugee seats in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.

“The JAAC raised this demand in October 2025 alongside 38 other demands and agreed to the establishment of a committee to examine the issue,” he said.
