Lahore Bar Association Elections 2026–2027
The Lahore Bar Association elections for the 2026–2027 term concluded with the Professional Group once again consolidating its strong hold over the legal wing. With this victory, the group has now secured four consecutive presidencies of the High Court Bar and recently won 11 out of 16 seats in the Punjab Bar Council’s Lahore Division.
This result continues a clear trend, as the previous two presidents of the Lahore Bar also belonged to the Professional Group.
Polling began at 9:45 AM, following a 45-minute delay from the scheduled 9:00 AM start. Voting was conducted entirely through a biometric system to ensure transparency and credibility.
Despite the harsh weather conditions, with temperatures dropping to 3°C, voter participation was better than expected.

- Votes Cast: 6,915
Although turnout was lower compared to the previous election, participation remained steady under the circumstances.
