DG ISPR Commends Iran’s Peace Efforts Amid Pakistan-India Tensions

Pakistan’s Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has commended Iran’s diplomatic efforts to ease tensions between Pakistan and India during their recent military standoff. In an interview with Iran’s official news agency IRNA, Gen Chaudhry expressed gratitude for Iran’s role in de-escalating the situation and emphasized the importance of regional and international diplomacy in maintaining peace. He also cautioned against external forces attempting to create misunderstandings between Pakistan and Iran, highlighting the longstanding brotherly relations between the two nations. Gen Chaudhry reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful borders with Iran and the pursuit of lasting regional stability.
