Three Policemen Injured in Terrorist Attack on Gadoon Police Station in Swabi

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, suspected terrorists attacked the Utla police station in the mountainous Gadoon Amazai area of Swabi district, injuring three police officers. The attack occurred early in the morning, prompting a retaliatory response from the police. However, it remains unclear whether the attackers sustained any casualties. DSP Fazal Sher Khan confirmed the injuries but had no further details, while DPO Mohammad Azhar stated that information was still being gathered. This incident follows a similar attack on the Jhanda police post on May 1, where no injuries were reported. In response to these incidents, additional police personnel have been deployed to the affected areas.
