His funeral prayers were held at the Kohat Police Lines, attended by security officials, local elders, and family members. Following the prayers, Sepoy Dilawar Khan was laid to rest with full military honors in his ancestral village of Kot. Floral wreaths were placed on his grave, and Fateha was offered for his soul.
