He also announced the establishment of free diagnostic desks for thalassemia and hepatitis at two National Database and Registration Authority centers in Karachi. The Sindh government is promoting premarital screening and conducting awareness campaigns in educational institutions, media platforms, and community programs to combat thalassemia.
