The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has announced the conclusion of the Global Undergraduate Exchange (Global UGRAD) Pakistan Programme after 15 years. Launched in 2010, this initiative provided Pakistani undergraduate students with opportunities for one-semester, non-degree studies at U.S. colleges and universities, aiming to enhance their academic, cultural, and leadership experiences. The termination follows significant reductions in U.S. foreign aid budgets, including a 92% cut to multi-year contracts by the Trump administration, aligning with the “America First” policy.
