Supreme Court Upholds Death Sentence for Zahir Jaffer in Noor Mukadam Murder Case

The Supreme Court of Pakistan upheld Zahir Jaffer’s death sentence for the brutal 2021 murder of Noor Mukadam. While the court confirmed the murder conviction, it reduced his rape sentence to life imprisonment and his kidnapping sentence to one year. Two co-accused staff members were released due to time served. Noor, daughter of a former diplomat, was tortured and beheaded in Islamabad.
