Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to be sentenced after being convicted of transporting male escorts across state lines for drug-fuelled sexual encounters, known as “Freak Offs,” with his former partners. While cleared of more severe charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, he still faces a possible 20-year prison term. Prosecutors have urged for a sentence of more than 11 years, whereas his legal team is pushing for just over a year, pointing to time served. In a plea for leniency, Combs admitted to substance abuse, violence, and expressed remorse in a letter to the court.
