Saudi Arabia is set to host its first-ever Devons League T20 cricket league. The league has been sanctioned by the Saudi Arabia Cricket Federation (SACF), and is expected to feature ‘legends’ who have retired from international cricket but remain active on the franchise circuit.
The six-team league is likely to be held in October, with matches scheduled to take place in Taif. The report added that each team could include up to four players who represented full-member international sides within the past two years.
Players participating in the league are expected to receive payments of up to $100,000.
