PML-N Leads in Early Results of Second Phase of AJK Elections

The second phase of the 2026 Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly elections concluded on Sunday, with polling held across nine constituencies in Muzaffarabad Division and 12 refugee constituencies across Pakistan.

According to unofficial and non-final results from multiple constituencies, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has taken an early lead in several seats, while the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is ahead in a number of refugee constituencies.

Early results show PML-N leading in LA-34 Jammu-I, LA-35 Gujranwala, LA-37 Jammu-IV, LA-38 Jammu-V, LA-39 Jammu-VI, and LA-41 Kashmir Valley-II.

Meanwhile, the PPP is ahead in LA-40 Sukkur and Nawabshah, LA-44 Kashmir Valley-V, and LA-45 Kashmir Valley-VI.

The reported figures are based on partial vote counts from selected polling stations and remain unofficial. The AJK Election Commission is expected to announce the official results after the completion of vote consolidation and verification.
