PM Shehbaz Urges Health Reforms Through Digitisation and WHO Standards

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for comprehensive health sector reforms, focusing on digitisation and alignment with World Health Organization (WHO) standards. Chairing a review meeting, he stressed the need to modernise hospitals, ensure efficient healthcare delivery, and maintain transparency in medicine procurement. He also directed officials to digitise patient records and fast-track WHO accreditation for public hospitals. The PM emphasised that these reforms aim to make quality healthcare accessible to every citizen across Pakistan.
