Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a bilateral meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul on Saturday during his official visit to Türkiye, with discussions focused on enhancing trade and investment cooperation.
President Erdogan received the Pakistani premier at Vahdettin Palace, where an official welcome ceremony was held before the two leaders held closed-door talks.
The meeting was attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Intelligence Organisation chief Ibrahim Kalin, Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, and Chief Presidential Adviser Akif Cagatay Kilic.
The two sides are expected to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral ties and expand cooperation in key economic sectors.
