Jarida Report

The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGIP) has partnered with TCS to launch “Passport Aapki Dehleez Par,” a home delivery service designed to make passport collection more convenient for citizens.

According to a press release issued on Thursday, the initiative will enable applicants to receive their passports at their chosen addresses, as part of efforts to modernise passport services and enhance public service delivery.

The service was formally launched during a meeting at the DGIP headquarters.

TCS Chief Executive Officer Hassan Raza Leghari said the company was committed to supporting digital governance and citizen-centric services.

“TCS is proud to partner with DGIP in delivering an essential public service directly to citizens’ doorsteps,” he said.

Leghari added that passports are highly sensitive documents and said TCS would leverage its nationwide logistics network to ensure they are delivered securely, safely and on time.

The meeting also reviewed wider plans to modernise passport services, improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall experience for applicants.
