The Embassy of Pakistan in Washington hosted its annual Mango Festival, welcoming hundreds of guests, including members of the US administration, lawmakers and their staff, diplomats, representatives of think tanks, and the Pakistani-American community.
According to a press release issued by the embassy on Friday, the event celebrated Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and culinary traditions, with the country’s renowned mangoes taking centre stage.
Guests were served popular Pakistani mango varieties, including Chaunsa, Anwar Ratol and Sindhri, presented in a range of fresh servings, desserts, condiments and beverages.
The festival also featured traditional music, cultural performances and displays highlighting Pakistan’s heritage, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the country’s culture alongside its signature fruit.
