ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has launched the PASBAN Remittance Rewards Scheme, offering annual prizes worth Rs16 billion to encourage overseas Pakistanis to send money through formal banking channels.
According to the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment, eligible remittance recipients will automatically enter quarterly prize draws if they receive qualifying transfers in each of three consecutive months.
The scheme was launched on October 1, 2026, by the Pakistan Banks Association and participating banks under the patronage of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Participating banks will finance the prizes from their own resources, while the OneLink network will manage the generation of entries and operation of the prize-draw system.
The initiative aims to encourage regular remittances through formal channels by rewarding recipients who meet the scheme’s eligibility requirements.
