Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, on Tuesday, said that the operation in Tirah Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is inevitable due to the presence of terrorists. Speaking on the Dunya News programme “Dunya Meher Bokhari Kay Sath”, Rana Sanaullah said that an operation could take place in Tirah Valley at any time. He said that people have been asked to cooperate with the security forces.
Rana Sanaullah claimed that there is a very large drug industry in Tirah Valley. He informed that cannabis is cultivated on 12,000 acres of land in Tirah Valley and added that terrorists also earn money from narcotics. He categorically said that there would be no leniency toward terrorists and action would be taken wherever miscreants are present. He said the presence of terrorists in Tirah Valley makes an operation unavoidable.
