Israeli forces and occupiers carried out a series of raids and attacks across five Palestinian communities in four governorates of the occupied West Bank on Friday, according to Palestinian local sources.
The incidents were reported in Nablus, Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Jenin and Hebron, and included arrests, detentions, armed raids, a demolition notice and attacks by occupiers.
In Iraq Burin, south of Nablus, Israeli forces reportedly fired live ammunition during clashes with Palestinian youths following a military raid. In nearby Beit Furik, residents confronted Israeli occupiers who entered the town’s eastern area.
In Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, Israeli forces arrested a young Palestinian and detained several other residents, according to local sources. Occupiers were also reported to have erected a tent on Palestinian-owned land west of the village.
In Qabatiya, in the Jenin governorate, Mohammed Abu Mualla and his family were ordered to evacuate their poultry farm after receiving a demolition notice from the Israeli military.
Meanwhile, occupiers entered the village of Tuba in the Masafer Yatta area of Hebron, two days after homes in the community were reportedly set on fire.
According to the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, occupiers carried out 3,488 attacks across the West Bank during the first half of 2026, resulting in the deaths of 17 Palestinians and the full or partial displacement of 26 Bedouin and herding communities. The commission also recorded the establishment of 42 illegal outposts during the period.
Violence across the occupied West Bank has intensified since the outbreak of the Gaza war in October 2023. According to Palestinian official figures, more than 1,182 Palestinians have been killed, around 13,000 injured and nearly 25,000 arrested in the territory during that period.
