The United Nations’ International Court of Justice is expected to give an advisory opinion on Israel’s responsibility to make the aid coming into Gaza easy. The court’s imminent ruling comes after the UN asked it to clarify Israel’s obligations, as an occupier, towards the UN and other organizations “including to ensure to facilitate the unimpeded provision of urgently needed supplies essential to the survival” of Palestinians.
