The federal government will present the Budget 2026-27 in the National Assembly of Pakistan on June 12, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry confirmed on Tuesday.
He said Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb would table the budget before the lower house of parliament.
The budget schedule has been revised several times, with the presentation initially planned for June 5, later shifted to June 10, and now rescheduled for June 12 after consultations with coalition allies.
The move comes after the Pakistan Peoples Party, a major ally in the ruling coalition, assured the government of its backing for the passage of the budget, sources said.
