Gold Prices Climb in Global, Pakistan Markets

Jarida Report

Gold prices extended their gains in both international and domestic markets on Friday, driven by continued strength in global bullion trading.

In the international market, gold rose by $30 per ounce to $4,080.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold in the local market increased by Rs3,000 per tola to Rs430,436, while the price of 10 grams climbed by Rs2,572 to Rs369,029.

Meanwhile, silver moved in opposite directions across the two markets. Internationally, the metal fell by 79 cents per ounce to $58.15.
